INTERCEM Shipping Forum 2022 Madrid

Monday 24 January 2022, 12:30pm - Tuesday 25 January 2022, 5:30pm
Meliá Madrid Princesa, Madrid
Registration closed

The 2022 INTERCEM Shipping Forum will take place on the 24th and 25th January in the heart of Madrid, at the five-star Melia Madrid Princesa Hotel.

We look forward to welcoming you back to a real-life, in-person INTERCEM Shipping Forum this January. Where, following both growing cement demand and decade-high freight rates in 2021, we will bring you up to date with all the latest trends and developments from across both the cement and shipping sectors. There will also be plenty of time for networking and face-to-face meetings, as the Forum brings together senior representatives from cement producers and traders, with charterers, ship owners and port side logistics providers from across Europe and beyond for the first time in two years.

Madrid will become the third Spanish city to host the Forum (following Barcelona, 2013 and Malaga, 2020). Despite its location far from the sea, this beautiful, historic city is an ideal host for the Forum as home to the trading arms of many multi-national cement producers, as well as a vibrant business and shipping industries.

2022 will be the tenth anniversary of the first INTERCEM Shipping Forum in Europe and after the 2021 edition was moved online due to international travel restrictions we are especially looking forward to welcoming all our delegates back for this landmark edition of the meeting.

As always, INTERCEM pricing is tiered to offer the lowest rates to those who book earliest. So, secure your place now and take advantage of our best possible prices!
